E-Motion caused a bit of a stir in my house. When people came over they couldn’t believe I had actually created it. I wasn’t really sure why. Perhaps it was because modern art was somewhat in style and it looked like something my mom commissioned or perhaps it was the fact I was just starting out and was a young 8th grader. Either way, visitors would often ask me how I created it. I often pointed out a few my strokes within the painting, the dolphin on the lower right, the bird, a pencil…and my parents reminded me, it is always good to practice speaking to adults.
